dkjlsfkdj Silent Hill makes me happy
so this is a silent hill-esque doggie i made
i couldn't think of a decent name for this monster, so for the now his baphomet
any suggestions, guys?
this guy started out as a doodle in my notebook while i was waiting for art class to be over x.x

there's barbed wire wrapped around his eyes and through his mouth (underneath his tongue) that pierces through his ears and wraps around the back of his head
it's what started this whole guy and it's the hardest thing in the picture to see :CC
his eyes are basically just dark discolorations on his face
kinda resemble stains
his front legs were cut off at the wrists
instead of forepaws, he has metal hooks grafted into the ends of his legs
the skin around his hind legs is like.. burned and wrapped around his legs, so he has to hop with his back end
i like him C:
oh also
he gets constant nosebleeds
hence the bleeding nose XD

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactFirst of all, i love the textures used in this pic. Let me say out of all the artists i see here, my vote for 'best natural use of textures' goes to you :]]
His head looks really...natural. It fits the style of this pic, and over all just looks nice. The way you built his body looks great with the length of his neck, and his spine looks nice, too.
And i really like his teeth<33
Another thing you really pulled off nicely was the way you shaped his hind legs. I can clearly see his skeletal structure, and the only thing i COULD say about it is that his hind legs look a little too chunky.
However, he looks like a big strong boy <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title=" (Big Grin)" /> Making it look right for his body mass.
The skin deformity looks pretty real, too. I like the use of colors to pull that one off; it worked nicely.
His body just seems too long. I know that has alot to do with style, but it seems like it's TOO long. And, as i said before, his hind legs almost seem too hefty towards his hips.
I can see the distinction between the two back legs, but it's not immediately clear.
His front legs are really nice as well. I like the size, and even though the character doesn't have any paws, it looks okay.
I like the claws on the right leg, but the left claws look awkward. That could be due to perspectives that come into play, but they look too...spread apart, almost.
I loved the minimal shading; it gave the art a dark atmosphere :>
